Our community offers a variety of customizable one- and two-bedroom suites ranging in sizes from 732 to1402 square feet.  Members living in our community are vibrant and enjoy a wide variety of social and educational activities.

We are a senior living community that has been in West Des Moines for 39 years.  As we look forward to our 40th year, we have newly renovated suites and are changing with what our members need daily.  We offer daily and weekly activities and comradery for all our members.  Elite Lodge of Ashworth is situated on 11 acres of tree lined campus and is centrally located in the heart of West Des Moines.  We are close to shopping and restaurants to meet everyone’s taste.

Both, you can purchase your suite, the costs will depend on the number of bedrooms you would like to buy.  You are able to customize the suite anyway you would want. We also have several suites for rent on a 12-month contract. Our spacious independent living suites are designed to provide you with space and style for your individual needs, furnishings and personal treasures. Available suites include one-bedroom suites, one plus, and two bedroom suites and two plus bedroom suites.

Yes, you can have as much privacy as you want by enjoying your own home. However, living at the Lodge, you will be able to visit friends in there home or invite them to your home and relax in privacy, it is all up to you every day. Don’t forget it’s your home just like you have currently. We have members that love to sleep in getting up having their coffee and reading the newspaper all in the privacy of their own home. It’s your time.

The Lodge knows the importance of appropriate nourishment and hydration. In fact, a poor diet is commonly the cause of health issues for seniors living unaccompanied in their homes.

Covered in the monthly fee includes one meal per day. We offer coffee, juice and Danishes in the dining room for breakfast. Dining at the dining room allows you the opportunity to be social with other members, interacting with members is part of a healthy lifestyle. If you become ill and can not make it to the dining room, we will bring your meal to your suite at no charge for a limited time. Any day you can come to the dining room and get your meal to-go taking it back to your suite.

YES! The suite is yours, and you have all the luxuries and furnishings you relish to bring with you. Our members take pride in beautifying their new suites and adding a personal touch. For items that do not fit in your suite, every suite comes with heated indoor private storage.
